the public deserve’s to see!!

Cars Dawydiak ( michael ) emailed me to help me sell my Porsche. Fair enough, they’ve been around for a while. I take Porsche there , month and a half later, I pick up a check. simple as that. really not much else to say. Thank you Cars Dawydiak!

Terrific customer service!  I purchased a 1972 Porsche 911, and the salesman, Sam Cameron, was up front and honest about the condition of the car.  There were some minor hesitations when I test drove it, and Sam guaranteed that he would make the car roadworthy as a condition of sale. When I picked up the car a week later, he informed me that under inspection he noticed the rear calipers needed to be replaced.  He replaced them with no additional charge.  If you are considering buying a car from Dawydiak, buy it from Sam.

I had a very pleasant visit recently with the owner, Walter Dawydiak.  His knowledge of the exotic car field was helpful and I am considering purchasing a car from his dealership. I really enjoyed hearing him describe how He and this Ferrari had an ongoing battle on his way to work for several weeks.

Must say, most honest laid back dealership I’ve been to!
Love the sales guys there, not pushy at all.  Mike West the manager is so awesome, I highly recommend them for people looking for Porsches!

Just had my car there for bodywork and paint.  WOW they do great work and they have great customer service (THANK YOU VEE LIM!).  They did all the negotiating with the other guy’s insurance company (guy who hit my car) and I didn’t have to pay a dime.  Plus, they finished it with a beautiful detail job.  Highly recommend Cars Dawydiak for bodywork and paint if your car is ever dented or smashed.

Since 1965 I have owned many Porsches. Several have been restored. Approximately 2 years ago I started looking for a 1995 993 Carrera 4 Coupe. I would frequently check the inventory at Cars Dawydiak. I was also looking throughout the U.S. In December of 2007 I located a car at Dawydiak. I was able to see this car before any preparation for sales was started. I put a deposit on the car and was given a date when the car would be available. When that date came I took my 3 page list of items to check and was permitted to go over the car thoroughly. The body, paint and mechanical issues were superbly done. I then took it to another independent Porsche shop for a final inspection. The deal was made. Shortly after buying the vehicle a few new issues surfaced. There was no hesitation by anyone at Dawydiak to agree to deal with it at no cost to me. However, during the ensuing months i noticed one place on the paint that didn’t look “just right”. No one else ever noticed this but it bothered me. So 2 weeks ago I was told to bring it in and they would repair it with no cost to me. Now no one notices it–including me–because there is nothing to notice. This was 7 months after I bought a 13 year old car with no warranty. These people have integrity. Everyone I have dealt with from Walter to Ron in Sales, Lani in Service and Jim in mechanical have been courteous, professional and ethical. i wouldn’t hesitate for minute to do business with them again.

From top to bottom the most professional and understanding people in the business. Not only are they the best at what they do, they understand people as well as cars. It is obviously a passion that drives the people at Cars Dawydiak. From the first telephone call with Lani through working with George at California Towing, Melissa and all the way to Mr Dawydiak the experience was simply top drawer.

Its amazing how much these people ‘care’.

I purchased my car (1956 MBZ) from Walter 18 years ago. As far as I’m concerned Cars is the best shop in town. Over the years I have had a few accidents. Having a 50+ year old car can be no fun when trying to get parts but Walter always manages to track them down. On occasion he has even gotten hold of genuine new Mercedes parts!!! I have stopped by the shop occasionally when car is being painted – it’s pretty amazing the amount of work that goes into it. When I pick the car up it is as though I’m driving out of the showroom for the first time.

I have recommended to many of my friends who have all had the same experience.

And last but not least… they really do love and know cars.

3/29/2008“Cars Dawydiak was recommended to us by the dealership that serviced our Lotus Elise.  As consumers and small business owners we are very skeptical about whom we do business with; Walter and his team of experts are without a doubt the best!  This car means so much to my wife she even named it “Rocky” and after her accident Jan was afraid that “Rocky” would never be the same.  Walter took our situation to heart and micro managed “Rocky’s” recovery step by step. He patiently answered all of Jan’s questions and concerns.  Walter always returns phone calls and e-mails in a timely manner.  We (Jan & Lee Hetherington) firmly believe that Walter sincerely cares about the people he is doing business with, as much and the exotic cars he restores to perfect health.  Walter (a.k.a. Cars Dawydiak) is someone you can genuinely trust.

Would gladly recommend buying, selling, or servicing a Porsche at Dawydiak. For me, it was a first rate experience.  Whether you live in the bay area or not, Dawydiak is worth the drive. From the owner (Walter) to the sales manager (Ron) and technician (Jim), all were very professional and fare to deal with.

Walter is a superstar, or five star if you must. Had my Range Rover in to fix the front fender damaged in an accident.  That work was excellent. What got to me is what he did to my car for free.  My Range Rover is nice, BUT, it has a “mexican” paint job. Say no more.  Walter fixed it, for free mind you, as a surprise to me when I showed up to pick up my car.  It looks like a Range Rover should. He also fixed my door that wasn’t closing properly for a small fee for a few part he had to install.  I will eventually have to replace the door and so where do I go when that time comes? WALTER! Customer for life I am.
